Sikkens Cetol Maintenance

Sikkens Cetol Maintenance RE is a premium, non-pigmented exterior finish to be used over existing Cetol 23 Plus or Cetol Log & Siding as a maintenance coat. Typically, with maintenance coats, pigmented products will further darken the wood. With a one coat application of Cetol MaintenanceRE, the wood will retain the same look and color. Recommended Uses, Siding, Logs, Trim, Garage Doors. Features and Benefits, Non-Pigmented Maintenance Coating - Developed to provide a non-darkening maintenance coat for vertical surfaces (siding, logs & trim). High Solids Alkyd - Provides maintenance protection in one coat. UV Absorbers - High performance UV protection, preventing graying and deterioration of the wood surface. Excellent Microporosity and Flexibility - Minimizes blistering and cracking due to expansion and contraction or moisture build up Application Methods:  Long-haired natural bristle brush; or, airless sprayer (when back brushed) using a .011 - .013 tip size @ 1000 -1500 psiSurface & Air Temperature should be between  50º - 95º F. Coverage: Smooth wood - 200 - 300 sq. ft./gallon, Rough wood - 100 - 150 sq. ft./gallon. Colors available clear Shelf Life: Approximately five (5) years in an unopened container.
